Hudson's Bay Holiday Windows Display

As my brother wanted to check out the Hudson's Bay holiday windows display, and I wanted to go to a talk on Christmas, Dickens and Conan Doyle in the Arthur Conan Doyle Room at the Toronto Reference Library, we decided to combine both activities. I wasn't sure if B would find the talk at all interesting, but he seemed to enjoy it. He hadn't been to either the Toronto Reference Library or the ACD Room, so I think he was duly impressed. Anyway, after the library talk, we walked to Queen and Yonge to see the windows:

I'm afraid my photos don't do the displays justice, especially as they all had mechanical elements, visual components, and music playing. This vid is pretty rough, but it gives you some idea of what it was like to be there in person, especially with all the people and the sounds of downtown Toronto. *g*
